I don’t think I’ve ever owned a wrap skirt, and I never thought I needed one. Now I don’t know how I lived without one! I’m not sure why, but I’ve always thought an a-line wrap skirt wouldn’t work on me. Please, tell me if I’m wrong, but I think it’s actually pretty flattering.
The skirt is made from a $1 vintage cotton sheet. I fell in love with the print from afar in the thrift store linen section, and I was ecstatic when I pulled it out to see that the material was in perfect condition: no stains, no smells, and probably very minimal use. When I bought it, I had no idea what I’d use it for, but when I decided to buy Tilly’s Miette pattern, this material begged to be made into a wrap skirt.
