Self-drafted raglan sleeve hoodie

I finished this hoodie last week, and wore it before the 10K race this past Saturday.

I’ve been working on making things that I need—like underwear and exercise clothing. So, my goal was to make a hoodie that I could run in, but I can’t quite bring myself to exercise in it. It was a quick project though, so I’ll no doubt make a few more soon.

The sweatshirt was made from a self-drafted pattern, using a blue/green waffle knit and a floral knit. I made the pockets from a stretchy blue spandex material.

It has raglan sleeves and inseam pockets.

I only had scraps of the floral material left, so I had to use it sparingly. It was the only print I had that went with the greenish blue thermal material.

I’m happy with it, but I’ll probably make the next one a bit smaller and lengthen the sleeves.

Nice! I love the floral panels and the little hidden pockets 🙂

Congratulations on your 10K, by the way! I’m no runner (I prefer my bicycle :P), but my dad is. I think it’s really awesome that y’all can make yourselves run so far. I can only handle, oh, maybe across the house 🙂 Hah!

Ah this is cute! I love the green and floral mix. I don’t think I could run in it if I were you; it’s a hoodie too pretty for me to get muddy! haha but then again the mud is a sign of appreciation too. Oh whadda debacle lol have fun with it and run! 🙂
