Pajama Jeans…Are you kidding me?!?!

So, I saw a commercial for these earlier on the tube. I cannot believe someone thought this was a good idea.

Pajama Jeans

You can see more (if you dare) here: https://www.pajamajeans.com/flare/next

These are nothing short of distressing.

Why on earth are people so obsessed with making pajamas that are “wearable” in public? This is just not OK. Why is it so hard to wear real clothing?

How do you feel about the wearing of pajamas or pajama-like clothing in public? I am hoping that I am not the only one who is disturbed by this trend. I think this just exemplifies much of what’s wrong with our society.

I don’t like pajamas OR slippers in public. It makes you appear lazy.

A new fad like the snuggly. I hate seeing people out in their p.j.s and or house shoes. I detest those sloppy looking wanta be uggs. Those are house shoes and they should stay in the house only to go outside to take the trash out! I would love to see women to go back to taking a little pride and wearing clothes that actually fit. I feel bad for women who try to squeeze into a jean two sizes too small shows their back side and the belly hangs over and this will give them something to squeeze into and be comfortable because it stretches. Uck!

That’s exactly what I thought! Lol. I was reminded immediately of the atrocity that is the “snuggly.” I too would like to see more people caring about what they wear, and taking the time to make themselves presentable when going out in public.

If they really look like jeans and feel like pajamas, I want some!!!

Lol. I don’t think they look like jeans at all. They look like denim colored, stretchy sweat pants with pockets and a fake fly. Haha!

ew i hate it when people wear pajamas in public. it is not hard to look nice and still be comfortable! those pajama jean things are… i don’t even know. i saw those a couple months ago and i am still baffled.

of course, i wear slips in public, which is pretty much underwear… but in my defense, slips are pretty & lacy & delicate 🙂

Eww, is right. Yeah, my brain cannot compute it either. Haha!

I have seen slips that are perfectly suitable for wearing in public. So, no judgment here. 🙂

Well, i haven’t seen them yet. I can’t believe they’d look much like jeans, depending on how close up you are.
I don’t understand why women think jammies and sweatpants are more comfortable than skirts and dresses. They’re about equal, so why would you even want to wear jeans very often? Especially tight ones! A line skirts, peasant type skirts, and knit dresses-I feel bad when i get so many compliments- i know i’m not believed when i say how comfortable it is. Maybe that’s just because i looked so bad before?!?

I completely agree with you. It really bothers me when people complain that style comes only with the sacrifice of comfort. It’s simply not true! I’m much more comfortable in dresses and skirts, just as you are. Plus, they are much more flattering than pants tend to be on me.

I don’t think that it is appropriate to wear pjs out in public. I agree with you that it is disturbing that pjs are becoming more acceptable to wear out in public. I drive a school bus and this past week was midterms and a large number of the high schoolers were wearing their pajamas to school. I am not terribly old but I just don’t get it. I love figuring out what I am going to wear out. I use what I wear to let my creativity out.
I love reading your blog and am so glad that you share your thoughts.

I’m the same way. I enjoy picking out clothing to wear in the morning. I don’t get the trend either.

I love hearing your thoughts as well. Thanks for reading! 🙂
