Here’s a summary for my first week of Me-Made-May. I’ll be posting a round-up each Sunday.
After the first few days of Me-Made-May, I can tell that this month will be a lot of fun. I feel so much better about myself when I put the effort in to look presentable, and wearing me-made items gives me a boost of confidence throughout the day. Taking pictures of myself every day is definitely going to get old, but hopefully, I can change it up and make it fun.
5/1 – Sewaholic Day
5/2 – Comfy Casual Day
This is a reconstructed skirt and scarf. Thursday was actually the first time I’ve worn this look. This month is already encouraging me to get creative with my outfits and hair.
I’ll show you some shots of my hair sometimes, too. There will probably be a great deal of variety because of the changing weather.
5/3 – Madame Blueberry
This is one of my favorite outfits, lately. The insides of my glasses even match this dress, which I made last summer. What do you think of this outfit? To matchy? To blue? You’re missing out if you never wear monochromatic outfits. 😉
5/4 – Wrap Me in Flowers
Yesterday, I wore two new pieces that I’ll post about later today. We’ll call this a sneak peek of another new Renfrew and a Miette skirt made from a thrifted floral cotton.
How was your first week of May? If you’re participating in Me-Made-May, are you having fun and/or learning anything yet?
*Reminder: I’m giving away a few patterns and a couple of dresses. Please see this post for more information.*
